Page health

You will learn what the Health badge means, how the 0–100 score is built, and how verification differs from publish.

Every page shows a Health badge with a score from 0 to 100. The score estimates how well the page is maintained, not how good the writing is.

What the score reflects

Dokko combines several signals into one number:

Signal What it means
Ownership The page has a current owner who is accountable for it.
Review recency Someone recently confirmed the page is still accurate (see below).
Readership Members are opening and using the page.
Outbound links The page connects to other pages where that helps navigation.

Click the Health badge to open the breakdown. You see how each component contributed so you can fix the right thing (assign an owner, verify content, or improve links).

“This is still accurate”

As the page owner (or someone with permission), you can click This is still accurate when you have checked the content against reality.

  • This action records a verification and refreshes the review part of the health score.
  • It is not the same as Publish. Verification does not change what readers see; publish creates the reader-visible checkpoint.

If your team uses a review cadence, overdue verification can lower health until someone confirms the page again.

Using health as a team

  • Curators and leads often sort or filter by low health to find pages that need attention.
  • Owners treat a dropping score as a reminder to verify or update content, not as a quality judgment on prose.
