What is Dokko?
You will learn the mental model for workspaces, spaces, pages, ownership, and health.
Dokko is a collaborative knowledge workspace. Teams write pages together, keep them owned and reviewed, and share them with members or guests.
Core nouns
| Noun | What it is |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Your organization's Dokko home. Members, spaces, and settings live here. |
| Space | A project-like collection of pages (sidebar tree). Access can be space-scoped. |
| Page | A document you edit live. Readers may see a published checkpoint instead of the draft. |
| Owner | The person accountable for keeping a page accurate. |
| Page health | A 0–100 score from ownership, recency, usage, and links — shown as the Health badge. |
| Guest | Someone invited to a page by email without joining the full workspace as a member. |
What Dokko is not
- Not a public marketing site builder — pages live inside workspaces with access control
- Not a keystroke history tool — version history is checkpoints and publishes
- Not a replacement for issue tracking — use comments for page discussion; track work elsewhere
