Ask Dokko
You will learn how the in-app chat works, when it answers from your pages versus product help, and what it cannot do from chat.
Open Ask Dokko
- Sign in to dokko.cloud (or your workspace URL).
- Open the Ask Dokko panel from the chat entry in the app shell.
- Type a question. Replies stream in as the agent gathers context.
Conversations can be scoped to a workspace so follow-up questions stay in context.
Product help versus workspace content
Ask Dokko uses two different knowledge sources:
| Question type | Source | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| How Dokko works | Built-in product help | Page health, guest invites, publish, comments, version history |
| What your team wrote | Workspace tools (search and page reads) | “What did we decide about onboarding?”, titles and IDs of your pages |
For product how-to, Ask Dokko calls product help before treating empty search results as “no documentation.” Your tenant pages are not the canonical place for “what is page health?” — product help is.
For workspace facts, answers come only from pages and spaces you can already access. Ask Dokko does not invent page titles, IDs, or document text.
Read-only from chat
From Ask Dokko you cannot:
- Create, edit, or delete pages
- Invite users or change guest access
- Publish or verify pages
- Post comments
When you need those actions, the assistant points you to the right control in the UI (share, Publish, comments, and so on).
Tips for good questions
- Name a space or page when you ask about workspace content.
- Ask “how do I publish?” for product behavior; ask “summarize the RFC page” for tenant content.
- If AI is disabled for your org or space, the panel and related features stay off until an admin re-enables them.
